Agricultural waste is often seen as just thatwaste. However, at CMT, we view it as a valuable resource with untapped potential. In Egypt alone, over 42 million tons of agricultural waste is generated annually, much of which is underutilized or improperly disposed of, leading to environmental harm. We’re harnessing this abundant waste, like tamarind seeds, rice husk, and bagasse, to create eco-friendly thickeners for various industries. Through innovative processing and sustainability-driven solutions, we aim to reduce dependence on imported chemicals, decrease waste, and offer local industries a sustainable alternative.
